About Mainland
Around 1000 commercial and industrial activities no longer require a local sponsor to obtain a Dubai mainland license. In the mainland area outside of the free zones, the Department of Economic Development (DED) serves as the regulatory authority for issuing these licenses. Mainland companies have the freedom to conduct business without limitations across the UAE and on an international scale.
